do it yourself rope bracelets
Love, love, love, these. Cute DIY gift idea, no?

| Do It Yourself Rope bracelets designed by Bromeliad |
I know DIY's aren't for everyone, but really, this seems like a fun thing to do on the couch while watching back-to-back episodes of your favorite show on a chilly, dark evening. Just imagine the possibilities using different materials like leather or fuzzy wool.
Get in on the How-To here.

I'm always on the hunt for ways to store jewelry. I prefer stands for earrings and bracelets, and boxes or busts for my chunky necklaces.
These would look pretty on a vanity dresser or on a shelf. But no matter what you put them on, just keep them out of the bathroom. For the longest life, store your jewelry away from moisture... and for maximum impact be sure to wear often!

kardashian x vsa
I read the other day that Jewelry designers Virgins, Saints, & Angels created a jewelry line with the Kardashian girls. Had to check it out.
And you know what? I was pleasantly surprised. A few of the pieces were a bit cooler than I expected - (especially for a VSA, whose style tiptoes the border between tasteless and acceptable).

Check out some of the pieces on Khloe Kardashian's "official" website.

think outside of the...
A few months back I saw this stunning bracelet on Rachel Roy's site. Whoever got their hands on this (now sold out) conversation piece is pretty lucky in my book.
I love the texture and the color. Plus, it might come in handy if someone picked a fight.

arielle de pinto

"Enhancing one's charm by pretending not to be aware of it is a gentle art", or at least that's what Oliver Herford once said. Sometimes artists are unaware of the impact of their pieces on people.
I encountered the jewelry of Arielle de Pinto recently, and I was curious about how it was made, so I contacted Arielle to find out. When I asked about her design background, she replied casually:

The pieces are made of crocheted chain, mostly of sterling silver or vermeil. My story? It just happened.
She may downplay her work, but I've seen it in person and it is incredible. She makes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and gloves, and I want it all.
